Will Medicare reimburse me for a cane?

I am in need of a cane but the Medical Supply stores in my area doesn’t have a cane to support my weight. I found a group through ebay that have canes to support my weight. If I purchase this cane and pay for it myself. Will Medicare reimburse me for the cost of the cane? This cane is covered by Medicare but this group on ebay are not set up for billing to Medicare.

Well Medicare does cover many types of durable Medical Equipment, including canes, providing the insured receives Part B Benefits.

However, they require a deductible of $135, in this case it wouldn’t really be worth it. Instead, you might consider going with a rollator, which is like a walker, but with wheels. However, even rollators might not cost enough to make it worthwhile to file a claim.
